Refurbished Noxon Centrifuge goes back into service

Refurbishment gives new life to Noxon centrifuges with minimal environmental impact.

10 Oct 2019

The municipal wastewater treatment plant in Älvängen on the west coast of Sweden had serious problems with their sludge treatment.

During 2019 Noxon got the order to deliver a refurbished decanter centrifuge that the company originally delivered 15 years before. After refurbishing the rotor, exchanging wear parts and upgrading the control system the centrifuge was successfully put back into operation during the spring of 2019. Älvängen now has a superior sludge dewatering and by investing in a refurbished decanter they have significantly contributed to a minimized environmental impact.

Noxon would like to thank Ale Municipality and Aqua Svea for good cooperation!
